Bio Of Randall Dubis

Randall Dubis has been an active member of the Denver, Colorado Blues scene for over 30 years. His influences range from the acoustic Blues of Robert Johnson and Bukka White to the Rhythm & Blues of T-Bone Walker, B. B. King, and Duke Robillard. Randall is a strong vocalist and uses a combined rhythm/lead guitar style, which incorporates finger picking and plectrum. He performs as a solo artist as well as with his 4-piece band.

Randall has been privileged to perform with many great artists, including Texas Blues legend Sonny Rhodes, A. C. Reed, and Son Seals. Randall spent two years touring full time in the U.S., Canada, and nine countries in Europe with Sonny Rhodes.

Randall is proud to represent Denver-area fans and performers. He will represent the Colorado Blues Society in the Solo/Duo division of the 2016 International Blues Challenge in Memphis with partner Dan Treanor. Under the sponsorship of the Mile High Blues Society, he competed in the Solo/Duo division of the 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

He has released four self-produced CDs on his own Sylvan-Adam Records label: They Call Me SLIM, Walk a Mile, bitterSWEET, and a compilation disk entitled Retro*Spective.

Randall continues to work the Colorado Blues scene and hopes to see you soon at one of his shows.
